The Weekend that Took Me All Week to Write About!

Thursday, April 25, 2013

Okay, so I haven't really been trying to write about it all week, but I've figured out my problem of why I don't update a whole lot.... I don't get on my computer many days. Maybe 2 days out of the week I actually pick up my computer. Anyway...

Last weekend was very very busy.

Friday night I trucked to Tupelo, Mississippi to see Kip Moore and Brantley Gilbert. I have to say that I wasn't their biggest fan, but I did enjoy the concert! I didn't know too many of the songs, but I still had a great time!

Saturday night, J's brother, Ron and his gf and I went out the the local fair. It was a lot of fun. We rode quite a few rides including the scrambler and the swings and one that spins around and around and plasters you to your seat. We also did the slide, kinda me unwilling, but I did it. I was a little afraid because it was really really high. When we got up there, Ron pushed me down...

Super tall slide

Sunday we trucked (or school bused) down to Tuscaloosa to watch Alabama beat LSU!! It was really fun. It was kids day as well. So J's nephews went down on the field and ran the bases after the games and we got some of the players to sign baseballs and big posters. It was really fun to meet them.

Overall it was a pretty amazing weekend. Tomorrow J is coming in and staying until Monday! I'm very excited about that...except we will be re-roofing a house most of the weekend. :( Oh well, at least I will be with him.
