Every time we go to the beach we go there. It has become a ritual. I just love their fried corn on the cob and sweet potato casserole! One night we were given the opportunity to discover the secret Sticky Fingers Corn Bread Muffins that are only given out upon request. And believe me you will want to request these! They are like Heaven melting in your mouth. They are not like any corn bread I've eaten; they are more like a dessert. And so I am here today to give you this lovely recipe I found over at Tasty Kitchen.
Sticky Finger Corn Bread Muffins
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
Serving: 12 muffins
2 cups of your favorite butter yellow cake mix
2 cups Jiffy Corn Meal mix
2 whole eggs
2/3 cups milk
Mix all ingredients and scoop into greased (or lined) muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. (I checked them with a toothpick before taking them out of the oven to make sure they were done) Add some butter if you please and enjoy!
I have been trying very hard not to eat 2 or 3 at a time, they are so good!
