Let's Talk

Friday, December 20, 2013

Sometimes I really just feel like sitting down and having girl time to just... well, talk. This is one of those times so y'all lets talk!

Christmas is officially 4 days and some odd hours away! Eek! I'm not sure I'm ready yet. I feel like the days have flown by. Honestly I don't know where the time has gone. I have gotten most of my presents wrapped. I still have to make 3 presents. I'm cutting it close I know, but hopefully they won't be that difficult.

My best guy friend from high school got into town yesterday! I'm pretty excited. It's been 5 years since we've graduated high school and I'm pretty sure I haven't physically seen him in at least 4 years. He's in the Army and I'm honestly not even sure where he's stationed right now. If you can't tell we've kind of lost touch, but we've planned for a night of pizza and beer while he's home. I'm pretty stoked!

This is the only picture I had of Greg. It was from our junior year when we went to a specialty school every other day together. In case you were wondering what I looked like all those years ago...

Today is my final day on week 3 of the first day to 5k! I'm pretty excited but slightly nervous for moving up to next week. The 3 minute runs on this one have been slightly difficult this week. Next week it bumps up from 3 minutes to 5 minutes. I'm confident I can do it, I just think I will need a nap afterwards!

I think that's about all I have floating around in the front of my brain right now. I'm so glad you stopped by and please come again soon!

  3. I'm with you..sometimes you just need to gab with the girls. I really need more of that in my life for reals.....
I did couch to 5k, but I felt like it took too long to get there, and one day I ran 1.5...then the next week I did 2 and then the next week I did three! I did a couple short ones in between. the program really helped me get going but after awhile i felt like it wasn't really encouraging, it was kinda dragging. so watch out for that.

hope you have fun with your friend :)
