Blank Canvas, Paint, Finish, Repeat.

I have been on a huge creative kick lately. Between rediscovering my love for my Silhouette, gearing up for all the Christmas presents I'm going to make and painting, I've been in craft Heaven.
Yesterday I alluded to taking a painting class this past Sunday. My mom and I had previously purchased multiple paint classes at Michael's when classes were 50% off. We took one class and life got busy so and we were unable to go back for more classes. But Sunday the stars aligned and we were able to make it to a class.
A week before the class, all of the nice gallery-wrapped canvases were 50% off so we swooped up on some nice large canvases for the class. We were the only ones in the class so we got to enjoy the private instruction of the painting we chose.
Because the canvas was so big, we didn't actually get to finish the whole painting at the class. The instructor helped us and before the class was over showed us how to finish up our paintings. I still haven't finished mine all the way yet, but I think it is looking pretty darn good.
I'm already excited for the next paint class. This time I want to create a Fall road similar to this picture I took. But for the next class, I'm bringing a smaller canvas and drawing in my design before I get there so I can almost immediately get to work on painting.
