Welcome! Don't go anywhere, you're in the right place. American Honey has a new look!! I hope y'all love it as much as I do. I can't get over how much I love it!
I have to give all the credit to Elizabeth! When I started talking to her, I had no idea what I was looking for. I knew I really liked the navy and coral from my last design but I was an open book. When she asked for 3 words to describe my new look I gave her something like Southern, Stylish and Simple. And that is exactly what I got and then some!
I really wanted to show myself in my look. So what a better way to do that than going through some old pictures?! I really love walking down memory lane. I came across a picture of John and I in South Carolina that really brought back some memories.
For weeks when John and I first started dating, we talked about going for a picnic at the oldest oak tree east of the Mississippi. When I finally got down to South Carolina, we packed a lunch and took the trip to Johns Island to see the Angel Oak tree. I was mesmerized by this tree. It has endured for over 400 years and is still growing and surviving. So after coming across this picture I knew I wanted it as part of my blog. Elizabeth did the rest and did a fabulous job, in my humble opinion!
The new look isn't all that's new though! Take a trip over to my About Me page and check out the new look there as well as the brand new Facebook page for American Honey!
Stick around though! More new announcements to come!
