Sticky Fingers Corn Bread Muffins

Wednesday, September 3, 2014

I might be a girl from the South, but I like my cornbread to be sweet. A little over a year ago, I discovered that Sticky Fingers (a barbecue restaurant in the southeast) served corn bread muffins on an ask only basis. They are no regular corn bread muffins, y'all. These are melt in your mouth, taste like Heaven, sweet corn bread muffins. Ya get my drift? They're really really good.

Luckily I found searched down a recipe on how to make these at home. So now I'm here to share with y'all this little bit of tastiness!

Sticky Fingers Corn Bread Muffins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2 cups of your favorite butter yellow cake mix
2 cups Jiffy Corn Meal mix
2 whole eggs
2/3 cups milk

Mix all ingredients and scoop into greased (or lined) muffin pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. (I checked them with a toothpick before taking them out of the oven to make sure they were done) Add some butter if you please and enjoy!

Y'all these corn bread muffins are delicious. Try not to eat the whole batch in one sitting. It will be bad for your waistline!
