It seems like every new season, I find a new TV show I fall in love with! There weren't too many great shows I watched in the summer with one exception, but the fall seems to be the complete opposite!
This summer, I religiously watched Covert Affairs, of course, and The Last Ship, a new show on TNT! Their new tagline of Boom! definitely described this show. It was quite exciting. The Last Ship follows CO CDR Tom Chandler (Eric Dane from Grey's Anatomy) and his crew on the Nathan James, a Naval ship. In the rest of the world, a disease is quickly moving through the population. Most of them is dying or already dead.
The mission of the Nathan James was to collect samples from the disease and try to find a cure. Throughout their journey to finding the cure, they run up on a Russian ship that causes all kinds of problems, have many close calls with the disease and a few sailors ever are kidnapped during a mission! This is one action packed, post apocalyptic show!
So now that season one of The Last Ship is over for the season, I'm looking forward to all the new shows coming on in the fall! It's a really good thing I have On Demand because I don't think I'll want to miss these shows!
Some of these shows like Revenge, Resurrection, Grey's Anatomy and Castle have multiple seasons and are still going strong! The others are new and I'm pretty darn excited to see what they have in store.
Scorpion is all about a group of nerds who team up in order to solve some of the worlds most difficult problems! Best of all, it's based on a real world genius!
State of Affairs stars Katherine Heigl and I'm pretty excited for her new show. She is a CIA attache who is tasked with briefing the President on national security! Normally I don't go for political shows, but this seems worth a chance.
NCIS: New Orleans, well, I think this could be the making of a great new NCIS show!
Forever stars a medical examiner who works with the dead all day, but just can't die himself. By studying those who have died, he hopes to find clues about his own immortality.
Stalker seems like it would be a great show if you love Criminal Minds. A branch of the LAPD specifically works with victims of stalkers and just plain weirdos.
Constantine looks like it will be a great show if you like Supernatural. Constantine is in the middle of a battle between good and evil and seems to be neck high in demons as he tried to save the life of his best friends daughter.
Do any of these new shows sound good to you? What are you planning to watch this fall?
