If We Were Having Lattes...

I feel like it has been forever since we've had drinks. Though I do believe I'll be having a non-fat latte because I'm really trying hard to watch what I eat/drink.

Christmas seemed to pass right before my eyes. Did it do that for any of y'all? By the time I finally got into the Christmas spirit, it was the 26th of December. Day late and dollar short I suppose. I'm really trying to stay on top of this year, though January is really flying by.

Speaking of January, are you sticking to your resolutions? We are 16 days into the new year! My goal for this month is books. I'm about to finish my second book. I feel like I'm making a good start towards my 25 books this year.

In other news, I'm still going strong on my 10k training. I'm on week 2 of the Podrunner Interval Freeway to 10k series. It is a 10 week series, and although I'm more than 10 weeks out, I figured I might need a little extra time.

Words to inspire from Tuesday
I went for another run at the gym on Tuesday. I do like going to the gym, but I don't think it's quite as good for preparing for the 10k as running down the road. For now it will have to do thanks to the cold weather we are getting.

I don't know how many more "If we were having lattes" there will be due to a new link up Katie, Shannon and I will be hosting called What's Up Wednesday. We are still ironing out all of the details, but keep you eyes open for our new linkup coming soon!

  1. I do not enjoy running at the gym it gives me anxiety for some reason.

  2. I trained for my half marathon almost exclusively at the gym and I definitely wish I would have gotten some road runs in! The gym is great for endurance but once I hit hills I was not loving it. I also think the road is harder on your knees and body so I was a lot more sore! Personally, though, I love running at the gym. It's kind of relaxing.
