February Resolution Update

Friday, March 2, 2018

I realize that February is a short month, but it has flown by. I was looking for an email at work and I thought it just came in last week but it was back at the beginning of the month. I honestly can't believe we're already in March. Before you know it we'll be celebrating Easter!

So the beginning of the month means that I'm tracking my goals again. Working on these goals hasn't become natural but I have tried to be a little more intentional at least on some!

Weekly Resolutions

Blog 1x per week - I did it! YESSSS!!! I officially posted every Friday in February so I'm at 5/52 posts for the year. We have some exciting weekends over the next few months so maybe I'll be able to catch up a little with some weekend re-caps.

Vlog 1x per week - This was an epic fail. I didn't even try for this. Shame on me. Maybe I'll get out a vlog or two in March.

Clean out the fridge every Tuesday - So the fridge did get cleaned out, but I can't say it was every Tuesday. I thought it would be a good idea to clean the fridge out the night before trash day however it seems as though it's more convenient to clean out the fridge before grocery shopping. The main thing is there isn't anything growing in my fridge!

Lose 4 pounds per month - I wasn't able to lose 4 pounds this month but I did lose 2. It isn't as much as I want, but I am able to see some progress so that's great!

Print photos from the Month for a photo album - I got a photo album this month but I'm still slacking on printing out my pictures. I plan to go through them and send them off to Sam's Club to be printed this weekend.

Yearly Financial Goal #1 - I think I was way over zealous when I created this goal. If I kept the course I would be at 0.9% even after trying to complete this goal in February. I'm going to adjust this goal to make it more reasonable. Hopefully March's update will be a much more positive one!

Yearly Financial Goal #2 - I was at 5.3% at the end of January so I started out doing very well with this goal. I'm now at 34%. Taxes really helped to boost this goal and I'm so excited to finally get it complete!

Are you still keeping up with your New Year's Resolutions? If not, you know it's never too late to get back to them. Texan's resolution was to work out 5 times a week. Unfortunately when I wasn't able to work out, he quit as well. I'm trying to talk him into going to the gym with me again! Don't give up on your goals just because you had a short lapse in when you were trying to complete them!
